Sports betting and sweepstakes in Nevada
- Sports betting: Online sports betting is legal and live (online since 2010). Mobile wagering apps are available, but Nevada requires a first-time in-person registration at a licensed sportsbook before a player's mobile account can be activated. See licensed sportsbooks.
- Sweepstakes casinos: Banned or blocked in effect. Senate Bill 256, effective October 1, 2025, expanded unlicensed-gambling enforcement with Category B felony penalties and profit disgorgement aimed at sweepstakes-casino operators, rather than a sweepstakes-specific ban statute.
